Let me demonstrate how to diminish anxiety quickly and effectively, so you can flourish and live life to the full, instead of being under the control of ingrained ways of thinking and feeling.

Want proof? Give yourself a current score out of 10 for how you feel right now. Say, 5/10.  Close your eyes, take a few steady deep breaths and go back in time to a high point in your life. Focus on that for 30-40 seconds and really associate fully to it. Keep breathing slowly and deeply. Now, how do you feel? Score out of 10?  7/10 or better? Repeat. And Repeat.  Feeling better?

Now go back in time to a difficult and challenging time.  Just for 30 seconds. How to you feel? 3/10? Now change to your hight point and repeat what you did for that.  Did you notice how quickly your feelings can change when the mind focuses on different events?
